Yea, I'm finally nine!!!

Emily was so lucky and got breakfast in bed.

Kayla's first time to cut hair

Brian was brave and let Kayla cut his hair. She did a great job. Brian was glad to finally glad to get it cut.

Swimming

We got to go swimming at the Clearfield Aquatic Center for hospital week. Each year Grandma Sharon's work has a hospital week and they do fun things all week for the employees and their families. This year we went swimming and bowling. It was a lot of fun.

Emily's grape smasher

This year the third graders leared about simple machines and each student was supposed to come up wiht a way to smash a grape. This is Emily and her grape smasher. She placed a grape on one end of a tube and then pulled a pulley, the grape rolled through the tube and landed in a small bowl. Then she used another pulley to pull a rock up and then let it fall. The rock landed in the bowl and smashed the grape. She had a lot of fun creating her grape smasher.
